New easy way to renew or apply for business licenses and pay sales tax online!
ATTENTION: The City of Wheat Ridge has launched GovOS Revenue, a new platform for business licensing and tax payments. Transition now to simplify your renewals and tax submissions.

- Seamless Filing: Quickly file zero-dollar returns if no revenue is to report, maintaining your good standing with the city.
As part of our system transformation, registration with GovOS is encouraged for all business and short-term rental licenses. The platform is designed to make your experience more efficient and reduce manual paperwork.
Why GovOS?
GovOS Revenue replaces the previous system to provide faster processing, better communication, and improved convenience. Starting in May, the old system will no longer be available, so we encourage you to transition now to ensure a smooth experience.
How to Get Started
- Create Your Account: Visit the GovOS Revenue portal.
- Link Your Account: After setting up your email and password, enter the following to link your business:
– Account Number: [ACCOUNT NUMBER]
– Activation Code: [ACTIVATION CODE]
- Submit Renewals or Tax Payments: Use the easy-to-navigate dashboard to manage your tasks.
*Important*: To avoid creating a duplicate account, please do not select the “I have a new business” option when linking your account.
